1. Tenancy Agreement
All vehicle rentals in Belfast are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement issued at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The Rental Agreement sets out the applicable terms, conditions, insurance information, charges and your responsibilities for that rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail for the Belfast booking.
2. Belfast Eligibility
To hire a vehicle in Belfast, you must:
- Be aged 21 or over (minimum age may vary by vehicle type; a young driver fee may apply to drivers under 25). Hold a full, valid driving licence for the appropriate vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photographic identification and evidence of address and payment method as required by the Rental Agreement and by local regulations in Belfast.
3. Booking and Payment — Belfast
- Bookings can be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our Belfast location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and the security deposit are normally due when the vehicle is collected. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.
4. Vehicle Collection and Return in Belfast
- In Belfast you must inspect the vehicle carefully at collection and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by both you and the handover representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified on return will be assessed and charged in line with our damage policy.
5. Insurance and Liability (Belfast)
- Basic third-party insurance is included with all rentals in Belfast. Full coverage details and excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount shown in the Rental Agreement.
6. Cancellation and Amendments — Belfast
Cancellation and amendment policies for Belfast bookings vary by booking type and notice period. Please refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for details on your Belfast booking. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges.
7. Belfast Prohibited Uses
You must not use this Belfast vehicle for:
- Any unlawful purpose or activity in Belfast. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other dangerous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or allowing unauthorised drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...
Violating these restrictions may result in Belfast rental termination and extra charges.
8. Limitation of Liability — Belfast
To the maximum extent permitted by the law of Northern Ireland, Belfast Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees paid for the service that gave rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law (Belfast)
These Terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Belfast.
10. Changes to Belfast Terms
Belfast may amend these Terms at any time. Any changes take effect immediately upon posting on the Belfast website. Continued use of Belfast services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
